What is a Ringtone?
A "RINGTONE" is the tune your phone plays to let you know that someone is calling you on your mobile phone. Your mobile phone may be able to hold up to twenty or more different ringtones. You can change your ringtone so that your phone plays your favorite songs, or customize your phone to play different tunes for specific callers.

What is the difference between monophonic and polyphonic ringtones?
"Monophonic" ringtones are tunes that are reproduced one note at a time, usually playing the melody. "Polyphonic" ringtones are reproduced playing multiple notes simultaneously, allowing phones to play the melody as well as the chords of a song. Ringtones are available in monophonic and polyphonic formats. The kind of ringtone your phone can play depends on the kind of mobile phone you have. You can verify whether or not your phone can accept polyphonic ringtones by clicking on "Check My Phone" on the left hand menu.

How do I get a new Ringtone?
  1. Verify your phone compatibility.
  2. Click "Order Credits Now"
  3. Enter in your credit card information.
  4. Return back to ringtones, and order ringtone you want for your phone!
How do I save my Ringtone?
If you have a monophonic phone:
When you see the message "Ringtone received", select "Save". Alternatively, you can choose to listen to it first, then you can select "Save".

If you have a polyphonic phone:
You will need to follow the link sent to you in a text message from your phone. Once you have downloaded your ringtone, you will need to save the ringtone to your phone.

Can I have more than one Ringtone at a time?
You can store more than one ringtone at the same time on some phones. If you've already saved the maximum number of ringtones on your mobile when you try to download another one, you'll be asked which ringtone you want to overwrite.

How do I get my old Ringtone back?
The original ringtones stored in your mobile won't ever be overwritten; they'll always be stored in your phone. See the instructions that came with your mobile phone.

I ordered a ringtone but it never came to my phone:
A text message detailing which website to go to download your ringtone should be sent to your phone within a few minutes after ordering a ringtone via SMS. If you did not get this SMS message, this could have happened for several reasons.
  1. The text message was sent to your phone, but it was accidentally deleted or erased.
  2. Your carrier may have had a "hiccup" in their system, and the text message never went through to your phone.
  3. You don't have text messaging turned on.
  4. You've recently switched your services over from Sprint to Cingular.
