Employment Permanent
"Is the employment permanent?" is another question. It is absolutely permanent. It has rarely happened in the history of the Company that operators have been discharged even temporarily for lack of work, except in the case of such places as season resorts, and there is not the smallest likelihood that such a thing will happen in the future. As long as a central office employee conducts herself properly and performs her work satisfactorily, her continued employment is assured. This applies equally to all ranks. We are proud to number among our employees many splendid women of riper years and experience, all of whom have come up from the ranks and are today occupying positions of trust and responsibility.
